With all of the drama surrounding the earthquake in Haiti last month, Angelina Jolie has traveled to the troubled Caribbean nation to help in the relief effort.

And despite claims to the contrary, the “Girl, Interrupted” actress is not planning on adopting a child while she’s down there.

During an interview with CNN, Ang insisted that her time in Haiti is strictly to help out.  “I’m always open to children around the world. We’re that kind of a family; Brad and I talk about that.”

“But that’s not what we’re focusing on at this time, by any means. We’re not here for that. We’re here to see how we can help protect the children in country and scale up the needs here.”
