Enjoying the lovely weather, Katherine Heigl was spotted out for an afternoon lunch date with her mother on Friday (March 5).
The “Grey’s Anatomy” actress was all smiles as she and her mom ventured into Figaro Bistro restaurant in Los Feliz for the midday meal.
Meanwhile, Miss Heigl is gearing up to be honored as the female star of the year at ShoWest 2010.
Katherine is expected to attend a fancy ceremony held in Las Vegas on March 18th, with ShoWest managing director Robert Sunshine telling, “Her ever-present charm and innate talent have made Heigl’s transition from TV screen to silver screen seemingly effortless. Her comedic timing and flair for acting are showcased in each of her roles and have captivated audiences around the globe.”
Welcoming a new addition to the family, Jenna Elfman has given birth to a healthy baby boy!
Naming their little bundle of joy Easton Quinn Monroe Elfman, this happens to be the second child for the “Accidentally on Purpose” actress and her husband, Bodhi Elfman.
Announcing to happy news via her Twitter account, Mrs Elfman told that little Easton was born at 7:53 a.m. this past Tuesday (March 2) in Los Angeles, California.
Dishing on her newborn’s strong-suits, Jenna writes, “He’s an impressive sleeper (thank god!) & I’m his biggest fan.”
Meanwhile, Jenna ‘s hubby also shared his joy on Twitter, exclaiming, “Shazaam! Easton Quinn Monroe Elfman. Born March 2 @ 7:53AM. Triple Word Score, Grand Slam, Royal Flush! Digging this guy big time.”
Showing off her sexy blonde locks, Michelle Trachtenberg was hard at work on the set of “Gossip Girl” in New York City on Friday (March 5).
Hitting Grand Central Station for the day’s shoot, the Georgina Sparks actress strutted around the set as the show’s stars including Penn Badgley, Taylor Momsen, Kelly Rutherford, and Matthew Settle watched on.
Meanwhile, you can catch the “Gossip Girl” gang in action when an all-new episode titled “The Hurt Locket” airs on The CW on Monday, March 8th at 9/8C.
A synopsis of “The Hurt Locket” via the CW Web site reads: “Nate (Chace Crawford) and Serena (Blake Lively) decide to explore the boundaries of their friendship. Blair (Leighton Meester) suspects that Chuck (Ed Westwick) is having problems forgetting about the woman (guest star Laura Harring) he saw at his father’s grave. Stocking up on the household needs, Shia LaBeouf was spotted out shopping for groceries in Beverly Hills on Thursday afternoon (March 4).
The “Transformers” stud was dressed casually as he pushed his cartload of goodies out to his truck – happily back on the road after getting his driving privileges reinstated.
Meanwhile, Shia recently spoke with press about his “Wall Street 2” co-star Michael Doulas and the hardships that he has recently endured – as his son Cameron was arrested last July for possession of crystal meth with intent to distribute it.
Shia tells, “I met a broken man, not the star, Michael Douglas. The man was in pain, trapped in an incredibly deep crisis. Michael Douglas on the verge of a nervous breakdown. It was unbelievably disturbing.”
Continuing on, LaBeouf explains, “He was afraid for his son....Michael’s work day was structured so that he’d visit his son in prison in the mornings, and after come to us on set. That was pretty difficult for him. There was little time for any of us to try to comfort Michael. That was really hard.”
Continuing to branch out with her business endeavors, Beyonce Knowles opened up the Beyonce Cosmetology Center in Brooklyn on Friday afternoon (March 5).
Joined by her mother, Tina Knowles, the “Single Ladies” singer was all smiles while celebrating the new place of beauty located at the Phoenix House.
The Beyonce Cosmetology Center comes after Miss Knowles spent the earlier part of the week in Washington DC for a White House visit on Wednesday.
Joined by her mother, as well as her hip-hop hubby Jay-Z, manager Kevin Liles and rapper Trey Songz – the group was treated to White House tour and even were able to pull off an unscheduled visit with President Barack Obama.
During her promotional efforts in London, Lady GaGa spoke candidly with the fashion reporter Horacio Silva about personal issues from the past and present.
Showing her cautious nature, the “Bad Romance” singer told, “It’s hard knowing who to trust with your personal life. When you cry in your room at night, you don’t always know who to call. So I am very close to my family.”
Continuing on, GaGa said that she’s moved on from vices of the past, including drug abuse, revealing, “I left [my past] behind because I had to… For many reasons, like drugs. It’s no secret that I have had problems with drugs in the past. And some places represent to me things in terms of my mental and physical health, so you learn to move on, to preserve what your mission in life is, and my greater mission is my fans.”
Changing topics, the 23-year-old also touched on her tendency to talk in the third person, saying, “I talk about myself in the third person all the time. I don’t live my life in the way someone like you does.”
She finishes, “I live my life completely serving only my work and my fans. And that way, I have to think about not what is best for my vagina but what is best for my fans and for me artistically.”
Jake Pavelka has had quite a week following the season finale of “The Bachelor” on Monday, and during his interview on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” he clarified a few things.
Speaking of his dismissal of Tenley Molzahn, Jake said he chose to say they lacked physical chemistry as a means of sparing her feelings.
“Ok, I’ll come clean: Physical and sexual chemistry are the same thing. I was trying to take the high road and be nice. I didn’t want to crush her because she is such a wonderful person.”
As for the claims that he cheated on fiancée Vienna Girardi, Pavelka maintains that the two relationships never coexisted.
“There was no overlap with that or any other relationship during the show. It is unfortunate that people such as this are trying to financially capitalize on or disparage my incredible relationship with Vienna. I only wish everyone could be as happy for us as we are happy together.”

He’s being super cautious about his public image as of late, and for Tiger Woods that means turning down a $75 million endorsement deal.
The offer came in from and Irish gambling company called PaddyPower, and was said to be a five-year deal.
Interestingly enough, PaddyPower reacted to Woods’ decline with the promise to come back to the table with an even bigger sum of money.
Tiger is just now getting his life back in order, with his wife Elin Nordegren agreeing to move back in with him.
