Hard at work on their hit CW series, the stars of “Gossip Girl” were busy filming scenes in Central Park in Midtown Manhattan on Monday afternoon (October 5).

As Blake Lively and Chace Crawford teamed up to film at an ice cream stand, their co-stars Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester strolled through the scenic setting as cameras rolled.

Meanwhile, you can catch an all-new “Gossip Girl” episode titled “Dan de Fleurette” when it airs tonight at 9/8C on The CW.

A synopsis via the show’s Web site tells: “It’s the first day of school at Constance Billard which means it’s also time for Jenny to take her rightful place as the new Queen Bee. Unfortunately for Jenny, Blair is more than happy to intervene when news reaches her that she may be needed back at Constance. Meanwhile, Lily returns home to Rufus and her family to find that things are definitely not as she left them. Plus, a famous movie actress, Olivia Burke (recurring guest star Hilary Duff), enrolls at NYU in hopes of having a somewhat normal college experience, and is assigned to be Vanessa’s roommate. Guest star Tyra Banks appears as Ursula, an actress co-starring in Olivia’s movie and someone who Serena befriends.”

Still reeling after seeing her show axed after just two episodes, Mischa Barton looked a bit out of it while out in the East Village on Monday afternoon (October 5).

Joined by a guy pal, the former “OC” star walked around aimlessly while “constantly rubbing her nose and looking very depressed” before hailing a cab.

As previously reported by Gossip Center, MIss Barton had been working on the Ashton Kutcher production, “The Beautiful Life,” but the series was cancelled after two episodes due to low viewership.

Meanwhile, Miss Barton is still signed on to do promotional work for Tesco supermarket chain to boost their shop’s ranges in online sales.

A paparazzo was arrested by police for driving without a license after running into the back of Nicole Richie’s SUV in Beverly Hills on Monday (October 5).

According to sources on the scene, Miss Richie was driving around town when the paparazzo rear-ended her car as she drove with an unnamed male passenger.

Insiders are telling TMZ the the former “Simple Life” star is claiming to be in pain, and has plans to consult with her private physicians.

Making sure that all was okay, Nicole’s babydaddy, Joel Madden, quickly made his way to the scene of the unfortunate smash-up.

Well, is Jon Gosselin just determined at this point to become the most hated man in America?

Because that seems to be the goal he’s working for here.

So anyway…according to People, Jon withdrew a whopping $200k from their checking account. Of course, as in most pending divorces, neither party is supposed to make large withdrawals without checking with the other person first. Kate only found out after she started bouncing checks – nice touch there, Jon. Kate’s lawyer sent a “stern” letter to Jon’s lawyer with no reply; maybe he’ll just go on another TV show to announce why he pulled this latest shenanigan?

Out tending to the day’s errands, Rachel Bilson was spotted making her way around Santa Monica, California on Monday (October 5).

The “Jumper” actress looked her usual stylish self in a grey jacket, white buttondown top, dark jeans and knee-high boots as she strolled past paparazzi and into the Tribeca West plaza.

As previously reported by Gossip Center, it was just recently confirmed by Rachel’s rep that she’ll be making a guest appearance on “How I Met Your Mother”.

Refusing to divulge any information about Miss Bilson’s role on the show, the episode will most likely air on CBS in January.

With Season 6 of her hit show underway, Teri Hatcher was spotted on the set of “Desperate Housewives” earlier today (October 5).

The 44-year-old actress donned an orange sanitation department jumpsuit in Griffith Park in Los Angeles, CA, while filming scenes for the dramatic series.

In related news, actress-comedienne Kathy Najimy is set to guest star in an upcoming episode as a police officer with a surprising connection to Teri Hatcher’s character, Susan Mayer.

According to the show’s creator, Marc Cherry, “Susan suspects Katherine was the one who attacked Julie, so she gets [a cop] to help her. But then she finds out it’s a woman she not only went to high school with, but stole a boyfriend from too!

Najimy’s episode is slated to air in late October.

Vowing to keep things simple when it comes to tying the knot, Anna Paquin has made it clear that she won’t turn into a “Bridezilla” as her nuptials approach.

“It feels organic,” the “True Blood” beauty tells. “It’s more about being family that becoming Bridezilla overnight and wearing some big meringue wedding dress. That would scare the s**t out of me. I wasn’t the girl who spent hours dreaming of my wedding.”

Continuing to dish details, Miss Paquin reveals, “We’re not planning the wedding yet. I’m not really that girl, we’re not really that couple.”

As for the well-being of her relationship with Stephen Moyer, Anna says, “We’re happy and things are good and we’re not on any particular schedule and it’ll happen when we have time.”

Putting to rest any rumors of a split, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy attended the 4th Anniversary of Tao Nightclub in Las Vegas on Saturday (October 3).

And in other news, Drew insists she is in no rush to settle down, telling press, “Sexual love is secondary to me right now. I’ve spent a lot of time in my life dedicating myself to love or the pursuit of love or the understanding of love.”

Continuing on, she added, “But for the last few years, my life just hasn’t been about that for me. It’s just not about the mother baggage. It’s not about the boy.
