With Katie and Suri on-hand as spectators, Tom spent a large part of the day shooting scenes for his new movie “Wichita” - including a little more stuntman work.
Co-starring Cameron Diaz, Cruise’s latest project is being directed by James Mangold and is due out in theaters on July 2, 2010.
A plot summary of the film via IMDB describes “Wichita” as: “An action-comedy that begins when a small-town woman (Diaz) has a chance encounter with a mysterious man (Cruise). He is either the man of her dreams or, perhaps ... her nightmares. Amid shifting allegiances and unexpected betrayals, they are swept up in a whirlwind of globe-hopping adventure and world-changing secrets.”

I hope that the rest of the world recognizes that we all have to share this burden and continue to take care of Iraqi refugees.”

Ready to fight charges in court, CBS producer Joe Halderman entered a not guilty plea to charges of trying to extort $2 million from David Letterman.
The 52-year-old Halderman showed up in handcuffs at a Manhattan courthouse this afternoon after he threatened Letterman about going public with personal information regarding the talk show host’s sexual relations with an employee.
While prosecutors were hoping to get a $500,000 bail amount set, the judge decided to set it at $200,000 - an amount expected to be paid on Monday.
Halderman’s lawyer, Gerald Shargel, told press of his client: “He was a responsible person. He has never been in trouble with the law before.”
