Bringing in a little extra cash over the Halloween holiday, Lindsay Lohan attended the grand opening night of the Kerzner Mazagan Beach Resort in El Jadida, Morocco on Saturday (October 31).

Joining owners Sol Kerzner and wife Heather, LiLo was among 1,500 guests at the extravagant affair - which included a decor of 100,000 roses, 10,000 candles, 50 horses from El Jadida dressed in the national tbourida costume, more than 300 traditional folk troops and fire breathers.

According to reports, Miss Lohan made the trip with rumored new beau, male model Petey Wright - although Lindsay’s denied hookup talk.

A columnist for the Sunday Mirror, Dean Piper, tweeted, “Lindsay Lohan’s here with her boyfriend at the Mazagan in Morocco. He’s hot. And they look happy!”

Obviously a big fan of the local pumpkin patch, Jessica Alba made her second trip in the past two weeks to Mr Bones in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon (October 31).

The “Into the Blue” beauty was joined by hubby Cash Warren and daughter Honor Marie, with the trio having a fun-filled experience at the popular Halloween season stop.

Keeping quite the busy schedule, as always, Miss Alba spent the previous evening all decked out for charitable purposes.

Jess was among the stars attending the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Event at Chateau Marmont - joining fellow Hollywood beauties including Eva Mendes, Camilla Belle, Diane Kruger and Jordana Brewster.

Out enjoying the beautiful fall weather in Boston, Massachusetts, Jennifer Garner and daughters, Violet and Seraphina were spotted taking a walk earlier today (October 31).

The ladies looked to be having a marvelous time together- talking and laughing as they strolled down the street.

Father and husband, Ben Affleck, has been in Boston plugging away on his latest project, “The Town” with his ladies often visiting him on set. 

In other news, Jen recently talked about what she hopes to instill in her daughters.

She told press, “It’s so important to me that they grow up with a healthy self-esteem, confidence and knowing just where to kick if they need to! You want to set the best example you can for them in every way. You want them to grow up and be proud of you.”

The “Hollaback Girl” songstress looked “rocker chic” in a black and white shawl with a very bright bra shining through from underneath.

Gwen’s husband of 7 years, Gavin Rossdale, turned 42 years young yesterday, but it sounds like the musician is more excited about Halloween this year than his birthday.

He told press that he will be dressing up as Buzzyear, the kids will be dressing as “furry, cuddly” dinosaurs and Gwen will be in surprise costume “that looks incredible – like every other day.”

The famous deejay, dressed in mostly black, was joined by her brother, Mark, and friends, and enjoyed a nice meal on the patio at Bar Pitti in the West Village.

Before long, the brother/sister duo strapped on their helmets to take off on Mark’s Vespa, but had a little trouble getting the bike started.

Eventually, they were able to escape the paparazzi filled street when the scooter finally cooperated.

High-end fashion house Versace is slashing 350 jobs worldwide after it forecast a 30% drop in revenue for 2009.

The restructure reflects a troubled global luxury goods industry that Bain & Co. reportedly expects to contract 8% to $US228.25 billion in 2009.

Associated Press reported Gian Giacomo Ferraris, who took over the family fashion house in July, said it hoped an aggressive approach would create immediate change.

Production would be streamlined, the store network would be reviewed and capital investments and overhead reduced, he told media.

“We will invest in design, product development and brand management,” Mr Ferraris said. “All the other areas, infrastructure, support, like bookkeeping, administration, controlling, and any double infrastructure, will be concentrated and rationalised.”

The company aims to have an operating profit by the end of 2010 and a bottom line profit by 2011.

Staff would be cut from 1,310 now to 960 by the middle of next year, he said.

While new stores were planned in Las Vegas, New Dehli, Dubai and the Gold Coast, unprofitable stores would close, including its three stores in Japan.

The luxury goods industry has dived in Japan, but Mr Ferraris told AP it would reposition there in the future.
