Stepping out for a day in front of the cameras, Audrina Patridge was busy shooting an episode of “The Hills” in Hollywood on Thursday (August 27).

The MTV reality vixen ventured out with a few friends, hitting up the local shopping district to add to her already impressive wardrobe.

Aside from her television duties, Miss Patridge is eagerly awaiting the upcoming release of her new movie, “Sorority Row”.

Hitting theaters in a little over two weeks (Sept. 11), the horror flick is about “a group of sorority sisters who try to cover up the death of their house-sister after a prank gone wrong, only to be stalked by a serial killer.”

Out taking care of her shopping needs, Kate Gosselin was spotted loading up with goodies at her local Target on Thursday afternoon (August 27).

The “Jon and Kate Plus 8” mommy picked out her purchases, then having Target security give her a hand out to her nearby car before heading over to the UPS shop.

Earlier in the day, Miss Gosselin reunited with ex-hubby Jon, as the pair headed to the bus stop to send their twin daughters off to school.

While saying their goodbyes, a photographer yelled out: “Kate, do you feel like you’re taking Jon back to school when he acts like a 15-year-old?”

Shooting to stardom with her family’s E! reality series, Kim Kardashian is ready to try her hand as executive producer for a new reality show of her own making.

Based on public relations, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” cutie has been working on a series which follows her PR pals Jonathan Cheban and Simon Huck - which is slated to debut next year.

Talking about the new job tasks, Kim said that the behind the scenes role “is the next step in my career. I’ve always wanted to get into producing. After my reality TV show is done, the next step is producing. I definitely see myself in the producing chair.”

“I’ve definitely seen the ins and outs of reality TV. I definitely love reality TV shows. It’s something I’m passionate about,” the 28-year-old adds.

Giving a little inside info on the show, Miss Kardashian tells, “It’ll show all the ins-and-outs or PR. It’s going to be really fun. It’ll show how there’s lots of drama and crisis in the PR world.”

“Every week we’ll have a different celebrity and a different crisis and drama. The great thing about Jonathan and Simon is that they focus on corporate PR and building brands; they don’t represent any individuals, so they see the bigger picture. They see how to make a celebrity into a brand. I’ve seen so many things go so close to going wrong, and then they fix everything.”

Also starring Robert DeNiro and Lindsay Lohan, the crime thriller is about “an ex-Federale who launches a brutal rampage of revenge against his former boss after being betrayed by the organization.”

Miss Alba has also recently filmed small roles in both “Valentine’s Day” and “The Killer Inside Me”.

Explaining her situation, Mischa Barton has explained why she was placed under psychiatric hold in July – as she was going through a “tough spot” and she didn’t know how to handle it.

The former “O.C.” star says, “I went through a tough spot where everything compounded on me, and it was like a perfect storm, like everything was happening to me at once.”

Before she was scheduled to start filming her new CW show, “The Beautiful Life,” Miss Barton tells, “I was traveling abroad for contract stuff and I went through a terrible surgery-a wisdom tooth surgery, all four removed. It was a nightmare.”

And even a celebrity like Mischa can experience the doctor jitters. “I’ve never had surgery before — it all went wrong and I had to have a second surgery and it almost delayed shooting because it was a nightmare to me, because I couldn’t deal with the thought of not getting there on time. So with the travel, and surgery and prep for the show — it was hell.”

Barton felt that she couldn’t take much more and things were spinning out of control. “I was down in the dumps about everything there for a while,” Barton added. “Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom about things and have to get the most stressed out just to feel better again. I got completely stressed out and couldn’t handle everything, and now I feel really in control.”

Reports claimed she had a mental breakdown, but Barton is denying the rumors, but admitting that it “was pretty bad.”

“The funny thing is, if all this happened in New York, no one would care,” she says. “New York lets you be who you are, and people aren’t as judgmental. I’m so glad to be back here.”

Enjoying a little time away from the set, Chace Crawford was spotted out and about in the West Village of New York City on Thursday (August 27).

The “Gossip Girl” hunk toted a red folder in-hand, glancing over at following paparazzi before continuing along on his way.

Meanwhile, Chace recently chatted with Interview magazine about his real estate experiences, which have been a bit troublesome at times.

“I’m obsessive-compulsive about the placement and cleanliness of my things. But I’m not always the best, so I had a housekeeper come every two weeks,” he explains. “It was pretty immaculate, I have to say. It had its down points, but Ed and I ran a good ship there for a while.”

As for his latest move, Crawford tells, “They give you, like, a $7,000 relocation fee, which goes a long way if you’re like my buddy shooting Friday Night Lights in Austin, Texas, but in New York you have to deal with a $7,000 broker’s fee. It takes more than double that to move and set everything up ... So I called up Ed and was like, ‘Hey, man, I’m going to New York tomorrow. Do you want to room with me?’ He’s like [faking British accent], ‘Yeah, why not?’ So I looked around and sent him a few pics of the place I found, and he said [faking British accent], ‘Is there any extra room for guest bedrooms?’ I was like, ‘What are you talking about? This is New York. What do you want, a game room? Let’s just make space for a Ping-Pong room as well.’”
