Finished up with a short visit to the west coast, Robert Pattinson was spotted as he caught a flight out of Los Angeles International Airport on Sunday afternoon (July 26).

Toting around his back pack and sporting his Yankees ballcap and trusty Ray Ban sunglasses, the “Twilight” heartthrob stayed in Los Angeles a few days following an appearance at Comic-Con in San Diego late last week.

Recently having filmed the new movie “Remember Me” in New York City, Pattinson spoke to press about his rise to stardom and the impact that it has had on his life.

Though he’s one of Hollywood’s hottest actors, Pattinson tells he hasn’t changed all that much, saying, “I never do anything normal anyway. And I just get other people to do it now.”

“I pretty much live an almost identical life apart from being recognized. That’s not exactly the worst thing in the world,” he adds.

Ready to bring an end to her European tour dates, Britney Spears was spotted leaving the Hyatt hotel at the Potsdamer Platz in Berlin on Sunday (July 27).

The “Gimme More” singer was on her way to the O2 World Arena for what will be the final show on the Circus tour until things pick back up in Ontario, Canada on August 20th.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that Miss Spears also may find herself under her father’s control when her lengthy tour duties come to an end in November.

Jamie Spears is planning to ask a judge to review the terms of her conservatorship, but must wait until the end of her Circus shows, as “a number of concert vendors’ contracts specifically stated that the singer would remain under her father’s watchful eye throughout the duration of the tour.”

Continuing along with non-stop birthday festivities, Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony were spotted arriving at the Edison Ballroom to celebrate “An Evening for Lola” as part of Lopez’s 40th birthday celebration in New York City on Saturday night (July 25).

Among the star-studded guest list were Liza Minelli, Benny Medina, Ricky Martin and Jen’s “The Back-Up Plan” co-star Alex O’Loughlin.

Aside from the birthday festivities, Lopez recently shot down rumors that she’ll be replacing Paula Abdul as a judge on the next season of “American Idol”.

A rep for Lopez told People magazine, “The rumor of Jennifer Lopez throwing herself in the ring to take over for Paula Abdul is completely false. Jennifer loves Idol but just as a fan. She just wrapped the feature film The Back-Up Plan, due out January 2010, and will release an album then as well.”

Taking to San Diego for the Comic-Con happenings, Hayden Panettiere stepped out at the Entertainment Weekly and Syfy invade Comic-Con party at Hotel Solamar on Saturday night (July 25).

When she wasn’t mingling with fellow guests including Ian Somerhalder, the fuschia-dressed “Heroes” hottie took time to sign autographs for her anxiously awaiting young fans.

During a press panel for Hayden’s hit show “Heroes” earlier in the day, creator Tim Kring talked about the upcoming “Redemption” chapter of the NBC series.

“We’re creating a new wrinkle in the mythology of the show—this idea that alongside of the show you’ve been watching, there’s been this other family of people who had powers who had figured out how to live with us and alongside of us, to hide in plain sight. So we created this idea of a carnival,” Kring said. “If you can breathe fire, than what better way to sort of fit in plain sight than join a carnival and become a fire eater.”

The “Cleaner” cutie hopped on top of one of her trusty new bedding supplies, greeting a gathered group of fans and onlookers during the course of the day.

The promotional duties come shortly after the 35-year-old responded to criticism about her weight.

“I don’t have a starving body I have a healthy toned body,” she said. “I don’t think people should criticize my [Calvin Klein] advert. I prepped for it a lot and I think it’s great. It was in the desert and we were all oiled up for it. That’s my job!”

‘Lost’ producers talk final season

It’s sounds like Jack’s plan worked.

Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet Burke) and Jeremy Davies (Daniel Faraday) will be back on ABC’s “Lost” next year, along with several other characters who haven’t been seen since the first season, said producers at Comic-Con.

The revelation confirms reports that suggested a “Lost” reunion of sorts for the final season. In May’s finale, the castaways detonated a bomb on the mysterious island in hopes of resetting the last several years of their lives.

The items were among a scant few tidbits dropped during a well-produced hour in San Diego that featured several new mock “Lost”-verse ads and parody shorts, but no new video from the final season.

“There’s a good chance you’ll be seeing many characters you haven’t seen since the first season again,” said executive producer Damon Lindelof.
The final season, producers say, will in some ways resemble the first.

“(In the first season, the characters) were running around the jungle, things felt intense and surprising,” said executive producer Carlton Cuse. “We have a way that we’re going to be able to do that in the final season too.”

Yet fans shouldn’t think that any sort of narrative reboot will invalidate everything that’s already happened, “because that would be a real big cheat,” said Jorge Garcia, who plays Hugo on the show.

“Just trust us,” reassured Cuse.

The show will also employ a new narrative device that’s unique to the final season.

“The time travel season is over, the flash forward season is over,” Lindelof said. “We’re going to do something different.”

Fans camped overnight to see the “Lost” panel, which occupied the fan convention’s largest ballroom that Comic-Con usually reserves for summer tentpole films.
