I did get strep throat that morning and was in a lot of pain. I had the flu and strep, so my fever was up and down. I thought I wasn’t going to be able to make it, but I didn’t want to miss New Year’s with everyone, so I met with a doctor in Vegas and rested and was able to ring in the new year with everyone I love! “- K.K

        John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston’s 16 year old son Jett tragically died today while vacationing in the Bahamas. A police spokeswoman says Jett hit his head in a bathtub, while Travolta’s attorney Michael Ossi confirmed that Jett suffered a seizure at his family’s vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful and he died on scene.

Rumors claim that Jett was autistic, however Travolta and Preston have denied it, saying that he suffered from Kawasaki Syndrome, a condition which can have painful side-effects, sezuires and often leading to heart disease… R.I.P

Kelly Preston and John Travolta also have a young daughter, Ella Blue, who was born in 2000…

This is so sad, our thoughts and prayers are with the Travolta family at this difficult time…

I am VERY excited about this movie, mostly because Dan Brown’s earlier book made into a movie, “The Da Vinci Code”, was so dang disappointing, and this book is about ten times better than Da Vinci (take my word for it - you need to read it!). Here’s the newest trailer:

“Pete Doherty in 24 Hours” is the compelling result of an MTV film crew turning up at his country home and asking if they could spend the next day with him. Much to their surprise he said yes and welcomed MTV into his home with an old fashioned cup of tea (made in a pot!).

The result is a captivating, revealing and compulsive one hour special which marks the first time in over two years that the Babyshambles front man has participated in a television project.

Pete happily takes MTV on an exclusive tour of his quaint country manor house where he can be seen hoovering the floors, and finding more and more cats who have taken over much of the house. He also exclusively reveals his notorious gallery of blood paintings that have been the subject of much media fascination.

Pete also talks candidly about his personal life (including a certain famous model ex girlfriend) and responds to the endless tabloid headlines that have haunted him including the allegation of him injecting an unconscious fan with heroin. He also reveals that his son has moved into the area and how that’s affected his life.

While on vacation with his family in the Bahamas, the oldest son of John Travolta and Kelly Preson, Jett Travolta, died after apparently suffering a seizure.

He had suffered for a long time from Kawasaki disease, which can bring with it seizures as well as heart problems. Here are some more updates from TMZ:

UPDATE: 4:40 PM ET — Restview Memorial Mortuary and Crematorium in the Bahamas tells TMZ Jett’s body would be transferred to Restview on Monday.

UPDATE 4:54 PM ET — Police spokeswoman Loretta Mackey says Jett hit his head in a bathtub..

UPDATE 5:15 PM ET — Police just released more details. According to a report, Jett was last seen going into the bathroom at their private suite at the Old Bahama Bay Resort sometime yesterday. The body was discovered by the caretaker, Jeff Michael Kathrein, at 10:00 AM today. The report says Jett suffered from seizures.

An autopsy is being performed to determine the exact cause of death.

How horribly sad.

Paris Hilton posed for pictures on New Year’s Eve at the Bongo Virus party. And she looked fabulous.  I have no idea what the Bongo Virus party is. Nor do I care. But Paris is hot. Nothing more interesting to say, to be honest. Happy New Year Paris, we look forward to lots of pictures.

Charles Barkley was arrested and charged with a DUI in Scottsdale the other night. However, Charles wouldn’t be Charles if there wasn’t so much more to the story. Check out his excuse for running a stop sign.

Charles Barkley told Arizona cops that he ran a stop sign because he was in a hurry to pick up a girl who had “given him a ‘blow job’ one week earlier,” which the former NBA star described as “the best one he had ever had in his life.” According to a Gilbert Police Department report, a copy of which you’ll find here, police asked Barkley where he was going at the time of the 1:26 AM traffic stop in Scottsdale. “You want the truth? I was gonna drive around the corner and get a blow job,” answered Barkley.
A cooperative Barkley also joked with a civilian police employee that, “I’ll tattoo your name on my ass” if it would get him out of the DUI charge.

Wow. That’s exactly what I’d want, a tattoo of my name on Charles Barkley’s ass. I mean really, what could be better? Also, I can’t wait until we figure out who this girl is. This should be awesome. I for one want pictures of her, as well as her contact information. Barkley has been around, that’s a heck of a referrence….
