    On Sunday, 150 friends surprised Olympic gold medalist, Scott Hamilton with a huge 50th birthday bash!

    Some of the A-list guests included singer Brad Paisley, actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley, fellow figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi, NHL’s Bret Hedican, Canadian William Shatner, retired NHL hockey player Adam Deadmarsh, Meatloaf, Kevin Sorbo, Bruce Jenner and Eric Idle.

I was greeted by friends from every phase of my life, this is the best gift of all.” said a teary-eyed Hamilton.

    In 2000 Hamilton released a book entitled “Landing It: My Life On and Off the Ice” in which he thanks many of his friends who offered him and his family support during his battle with cancer. Many of those people were also in attendance…

… Comedian Kevin Nealon, served up some laughs throughout the night and Idle and Paisley jammed….

    Former Beverly Hills, 90210 actress Shannen Doherty aka “Brenda Walsh” had a ‘lil something to say about Tori Spelling’s new book entitled  “sTori Telling“!

Spelling says Doherty was “arrogant” and a “bad influence” on the set 90210!

I didn’t read it, nor would I. My friends called me and said, ‘Oh, she said this and this.’ Tori and I were friends, but, along the way, people grow in different directions. I did my thing, she did her thing, and that was pretty much it.”

Doherty also said she’s not interested in writing her own book…

My book would be boring because I would never write about my castmates, whether I liked them or not. When you’re working on a set, that’s a sacred and private experience. It’s not supposed to end up in a book for somebody to make money off of.”

Spelling recently pulled out of appearing in the new “90210” spin-off  just after Doherty signed on to join the cast… meooowwww

     Pamela Anderson got down and under!! Pam signed a fan’s Bay Watch swim-shorts! during a press conference in Sydney, Australia this week. She’s there to promote her new “Pam: Girl on the Loose” reality show…

        Justin Trudeau and his wife Sophie Gregoire-Trudeau are expecting their second child together, due in January of next year…

The Canadian couple were married in 2005 and welcomed a son, Xavier James back in 2007…

Ashlee Simpson, who is getting ready to welcome her first baby with husband Pete Wentz, talked about how things are going right now:

“We’re getting the nursery ready,” said Simpson. “I can’t wait to be a mom and he can’t wait to be a dad, so it’s fun.”

“I have the greatest husband,” she said. “He’s so awesome. It’s fun to have somebody that I love to do this with.”

Having her family around has been comforting too. “My mom and my grandmother [have] given me good motherly advice,” said Simpson, “but it’s one of those things where your mother instincts kind of kick in right away.”

Other things on their to-do list? Picking a baby name. But Simpson says they haven’t settled on one yet.

After joking about calling their kid “Orange,” Simpson said, “I don’t think it’s something we’ll decide until the baby comes.”

She’s also been writing a few new tunes, but won’t jump back into the studio until her little bundle is born.

“The baby is my main focus right now,” she says. “We’re both so excited. I mean, this is definitely the happiest moment in my life.”

Robert Downey Jr. star of Iron Man, had this to say about The Dark Knight:

“My whole thing is that I saw ‘The Dark Knight’. I feel like I’m dumb because I feel like I don’t get how many things that are so smart. It’s like a Ferrari engine of storytelling and script writing and I’m like, ‘That’s not my idea of what I want to see in a movie.’ I loved ‘The Prestige’ but didn’t understand ‘The Dark Knight’. Didn’t get it, still can’t tell you what happened in the movie, what happened to the character and in the end they need him to be a bad guy. I’m like, ‘I get it. This is so high brow and so [expletive] smart, I clearly need a college education to understand this movie.’ You know what? [Expletive] DC comics. That’s all I have to say and that’s where I’m really coming from.”
