    Zack Warner really needs to learn to STFU!… He is so rude! It’s bad enough that he says the dumbest things, but he can’t even give constructive criticism either!

Tonight on Canadian Idol it was Warner who really peeved me off! He was making fun of fluffy competitor “Mark Day” and his dark purple shirt?! by calling him “a rasin” or something rude like that!…

… that’s exactly why I don’t like to watch this show… superficial comments by superficial nobody judges!

Uh huh. Painful to watch. Well, MTV Networks president, Van Toffler did an interview with AP on Friday and said he would consider having Spears open the VMA’s again - here’s what he had to say:

“I’m not sure how we top Britney opening the show,” said Toffler. “We are working on it every minute of every day.”

In a classic case of pot and kettle, Pam Anderson, longtime vegan, has criticized fellow bimbette Jessica Simpson for wearing a shirt that said “Real Girls Eat Meat”. ANIMAL meat, people. Get your minds out of the gutter.

Anyway, listen to what she said on an Australian radio show:

Speaking on radio in Australia – where she’s waiting to go into the Big Brother house – the star slammed her rival buxom blonde.
Pammi blasted: “I think she is a bitch and whore.
“Actually, I don’t know if she was talking about food or men.”
She added that she is proud of not eating meat, saying: “I think it’s healthy, good for your body and good for the environment.”

An Australian radio show is claiming the Canadian babe called Simpson a “B-i-t-c-h” and “W-H-O-R-E”!… I really don’t think she would say that but you never know… So what if Simpson likes sausage??? lol

The up and coming film is about a pushy boss (Bullock) who forces her young assistant (Reynolds) to marry her in order to keep her Visa status in the U.S. and avoid deportation to Canada!…ha ha

Donald Trump, a man not really known for his tact, is criticizing Anne Hathaway for breaking up with her loser boyfriend. Here’s the the Donald had to say about the situation:
“She hasn’t remained very loyal to him, has she?” Trump told “Access Hollywood’s” Billy Bush. “So when he had plenty of money, she liked him, but then after that, not as good, right?”

Hmm. I do believe that this might a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black? Oh, that’s right - how many times have YOU remained faithful to your wives, Donny Boy? I’m thinking this is also a subtle warning to Melania to remind her which side of her bread is buttered - we all know that she’s only with him for the money.

Oh, my. Now this HAD to be awkward. You know that Mel Gibson has kind of taken troubled pop star Britney Spears under his wing, right? Well, lately that included setting her up with one of his twin sons who went to rehab too and got himself together. The Enquirer has more:

“Mel felt Ed would be a great influence on Brit, and if the relationship turned to romance, all the better,” said the insider.
So Gibson arranged a meeting between the pair at Britney’s home in the Hollywood Hills last March, said the source.
“He sincerely believed that his son could help Britney stay on the straight and narrow and that they might hit it off as a couple as well,” the insider explained.
But Britney, 26, gave the cold shoulder to Mel and Edward…
“She hid from them most of the night,” revealed the insider. “Mel and his son spent most of the evening talking to her bodyguards.”

Well, honestly, I can see this working. Mel seems to have his head on relatively straight, he does have some infamous messups, but he seems to genuinely care about his family and really seems to care about Britney, too. Personally, though, I would be VERY wary of inviting this completely unbalanced person (Britney) into my family - she’s just too unstable.

I absolutely love Bette Midler. I love everything she’s ever done. Her voice is amazing, her acting is amazing, and she just is generally a fantastic person. Case in point:

• I defy you NOT to bawl like a baby when watching Beaches. Just thinking about that movie makes me all weepy.
• Another great movie - For the Boys - one of my favorites. This one didn’t get as much publicity as “Beaches”, but it’s just as good.
• And of course, Bette’s Christmas album, Cool Yule. One of my favorites.

Yep, I’m a Bette fan. So I was very happy to see her perform on The View this week. Here’s the clip:
